July 2007 to May 2009 - Divisional Railway Manager of Kota Division responsible for train operations, infrastructure development, upgradation & maintenance, passenger & freight business, funds utilization, expenditure and budget control, safety and security and public dealing and rail publicity.

Aug 2003 to July 2007 - Executive Director (Signal), Railway Board for policy formulation and issue of guidelines for installation and maintenance, approval of new schemes, monitoring of the progress of Signaling, Automation & ICT works, maintenance performance and budget provision.

1997 to 2003 Chief Signal & Telecom Engineer (Projects) SER/SECR - Planning and estimation, tendering and contracting, installation, monitoring and commissioning of S&T works including digital axle counters, electronic software embedded secure interlocking and optical fiber networks. Installation of safety critical systems require mandatory clearance of the Commissioner of Railway Safety. Policy formulation and issue of guidelines for installation and maintenance of systems along with planning and execution of Signal & Telecom and Information Network schemes, works and projects and their regular review. Plan for development and adaptation of Fail Safe Multiplex equipment (UFSBI) conforming to standards and its application by Fail Safe Transmission of block signaling information on optical fiber network
